Notice of Application

 

Pesticides are anticipated to be used on the golf course during the year. Occupants living near the golf course, have the option to receive written notice each time a sign is required to be posted under this section. Please contact Golf Course Superintendent, Matt Erickson, at 519-736-5050.

All Pesticides being used are under the exemption for golf courses as per the Ontario Regulation 63/09 and are registered under the Pest Control Products Acts (Canada). All collect calls will be accepted.

A full copy of the Club’s 2019 Pesticides records, as required under Regulation 63/09, is available from the Club’s Administration Office, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Thursday April 23, 2026

On Friday April 24, 2026, we will be spraying,

Quicksilver, Active Ingredient (Carfentranzone-Ethyl) Reg #30142, on Greens for Moss.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 10 a.m., Weather Permitting

 

Thursday May 14, 2026

On May 15 2026, we will be spraying,

Fame Active Ingredient ( Fluoxastrobin) Reg #31857 on Greens for Summer Patch and Dollar Spot.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 9:30 a.m.

On Saturday May 16, 2026 and Sunday May 17, 2026, we will be spraying,

Flex-Guard Active Ingredient (Fluazinam)  Reg #35103 on Fairways for Dollar Spot.

We will be starting at 5 a.m. and will be finished at 8:30 a.m.

 

Tuesday May 19, 2026

On Wednesday, May 20 2026, we will be spraying,

Suspend Poylozone Active Ingredient (Deltamethrin) Reg #34599 on Greens and Tees for Ants.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 9:30 a.m.

On Thursday, May 21 through to Saturday, May 30, 2026,  we will be spraying,

Trillion Active Ingredient (2,4-D, Mecoprop and Dicamba) Reg #27972 in the Rough for Dandelions and Clover.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and be finished at 10 a.m.

On Monday May 25 2026, we will be spraying,

Tetrino Active Ingredient (Tetraniliprole) Reg #33714 on Greens and Aprons for Leather Jackets.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 9:30 a.m.

On Thursday, May 28, 2026 we will be spraying,

Flex-Guard Active Ingredient (Fluazinam)  Reg #35103 on Greens for Dollar Spot.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 8:30 a.m.

On Friday, May 29, 2026, we will be spraying,

Exteris Stressgard Active Ingredient (Fluopyram, Trifloxystrobin) Reg #32206 on Tees for Dollar Spot.

We will be starting at 6 a.m. and will be finished at 9:30 a.m.
