Membership Descriptions
Pointe West is aware of the changing needs of the golf industry and has been extremely pro-active in establishing a range of membership categories which offer the perfect scenarios for single players, couples, families, juniors, intermediates, seniors and corporations.
 
Listed below are detailed descriptions of the Club's Personal and Corporate Golfing Memberships. If you would like a copy of these Membership Descriptions, please click on the highlighted link.
 
PERSONAL GOLFING MEMBERSHIPS:

ADULT
This is a full, unrestricted membership, with no playing restrictions.
 
ADULT COUPLE
Restricted to couples, legally married, or considered to be a couple under the rules established by the Board of Directors. This is a full, unrestricted membership, with no playing restrictions.
 
FAMILY
Membership includes couples, legally married, or considered to be a couple under the rules established by the Board of Directors, and their children who have attained the age of seven (7) years, but not yet nineteen (19) years. This is a full, unrestricted membership, with no playing restrictions for parents.
 
Playing access for the children is consistent with Junior Members, as follows;
 
Juniors who have attained the age of seven (7) years, but not yet eleven (11), are restricted on weekdays to playing between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays to playing after 2:00 p.m., and must play with one of their parents or grandparents, who must also be an active golfing member of the Club.
 
Juniors who have attained the age of eleven (11) years, but not yet thirteen (13), are restricted on weekdays to playing between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays to playing after 2:00 p.m.
 
Juniors who have attained the age of thirteen (13) years, but not yet nineteen (19) have no playing restrictions on weekdays. On weekends and holidays they have playing privileges from 2:00 p.m., unless there are openings available within forty eight hours and provided they play golf with one of their parents or grandparents, who must also be an active golfing member of the Club, when they can commence play at 12:00 noon.
 
SENIOR 65-69
SENIOR 70-74
SENIOR 75+
Restricted to persons, aged sixty-five (65) years or over, for play on weekdays with additional complimentary play on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, beginning at the posted Twi-Light tee-time. Senior Members are allowed to play prior to these complimentary times, on payment of the applicable green fee. Senior Members may play in Club Events on weekends without payment of an additional green fee.
 
SENIOR COUPLE 65-69
SENIOR COUPLE 70-74
SENIOR COUPLE 75+
Restricted to couples, one of which must be aged sixty-five (65) or over, legally married, or considered to be a couple under the rules established by the Board of Directors, for play on weekdays, with additional complimentary play on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, beginning at the posted Twi-Light tee-time. Senior Couple Members are allowed to play prior to these complimentary times, on payment of the applicable green fee. Senior Couple Members may play in Club Events on weekends without payment of an additional green fee.
 
GREEN FEE
The category allows a maximum of thirty-two (32) golfing visits to the Club during the season. A golfing visit is considered to be 9 or 18 holes of golf. The maximum number of golfing visits are split evenly at sixteen (16), for the period from season opening through July 31st, and sixteen (16), for the subsequent period, August 1st through season closing. Additional play in excess of the sixteen (16) golfing visits for the aforementioned periods, or thirty-two (32) annual golfing visits to the Club, is not permitted.
 
Green Fee Members can play in In-House Club Tournaments, except all Match Play Events and the Club Championship, on payment of the applicable entry fee. Play in an In-House Tournament which requires the payment of a tournament entry fee for all members, is not considered as a golfing visit to the Club. Golfing visits, if unused, do not extend past the aforementioned dates. Included in the membership cost is thirty-two (32) 9-hole Green Fee Certificates. Sixteen (16) Certificates are available for the period from season opening though July 31st, and sixteen (16) Certificates, are available for the subsequent period, August 1st through season closing. Green Fee Certificates cannot be transferred to other Members, Non-Member Shareholders or guests. Green Fee Certificates, if unused, do not extend past the aforementioned dates. Two 9-hole Certificates can be used together in order to play 18 holes. If a Member wishes to play additional golf during either of the specified periods, in excess of the included sixteen (16) 9-hole Certificates, they can do so by paying the applicable green fee, to a maximum of sixteen (16) 18-hole rounds per specified period. Green Fee members cannot use any form of discounted Guest or Green Fee Certificates.
 
Green Fee Members are permitted to entertain guests under the Club's usual guest play privileges applicable to the Club's other membership categories. The category provides six (6) 9-hole rounds under the Club's Mandatory Guest Fee Program at a cost of $120, plus HST. The cost of membership does not include Bag Club Storage or the maintenance of a Club Handicap, through the Golf Association of Ontario, although both are available on payment of the optional Fee of $90 and $35, plus H.S.T., respectively.

PRE-JUNIORS
Pre-Juniors, aged five (5) to nine (9), are allowed on the Practice Range and Golf Course under adult member supervision after 7 p.m. with the permission of the Golf Shop Staff. Children under five (5) are not allowed on the Golf Course or Practice Range. There are no Membership Dues or Fees charged to Pre-Juniors.
 
JUNIOR (7-10)
Juniors who have attained the age of seven (7) years, but not yet eleven (11), are restricted on weekdays to playing between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays to playing after 2:00 p.m., and must play with one of their parents or grandparents, who must also be an active golfing member of the Club.
 
JUNIOR (11-12)
Juniors who have attained the age of eleven (11) years, but not yet thirteen (13), are restricted on weekdays to playing between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays to playing after 2:00 p.m.
 
JUNIOR (13-14)

JUNIOR (15-16)
Juniors who have attained the age of fifteen (15) years, but not yet seventeen (17), have no playing restrictions on weekdays. On weekends and holidays they have playing privileges from 2:00 p.m., unless there are openings available within forty eight hours and provided they play golf with one of their parents or grandparents, who must also be an active golfing member of the Club, when they can commence play at 12:00 noon.
 
JUNIOR (17-18)
Juniors who have attained the age of seventeen (17) years, but not yet nineteen (19), have no playing restrictions on weekdays. On weekends and holidays they have playing privileges from 2:00 p.m., unless there are openings available within forty eight hours and provided they play golf with one of their parents or grandparents, who must also be an active golfing member of the Club, when they can commence play at 12:00 noon.
 
INTERMEDIATE
Intermediate Members must have attained the age of nineteen (19) years, but not yet thirty five (35). Intermediates enjoy full playing privileges. Membership Dues and Fees are staggered each year, increasing from 19 through 34 years of age.
 
CORPORATE GOLFING MEMBERSHIPS:
The Corporation granted membership privileges may change the designated player once each year, at no cost. The designated player must be a Director, Officer or Employee of the Corporation, and confirmation of this status must be satisfactorily determined by the Membership Committee prior to approval. All Corporate golfing memberships are equivalent to the previous listed personal memberships with respect to category privileges and any playing restrictions.
 
CORPORATE TWO/THREE/FOUR PLAYER
This is a full, unrestricted membership, with no playing restrictions for the designated number of players.
 
SOCIAL DINING MEMBERSHIPS:
Social Dining Members have a member account and full access to the Club's Dining Room for regular and special event business. Shareholders in this category, may play golf at the Club, up to a maximum of two visits per month at the applicable green fee, but cannot use other Member's discounted guest fee passes.
 
SINGLE
The Single Social Dining membership provides Clubhouse access for one Member. Their spouse or guests are welcome to enjoy the food and beverage services of the Club, but only in the presence of the Social Dining Member.
 
COUPLE
The Couple Social Dining membership provides Clubhouse access for a couple, together or on their own. Their guests are welcome to enjoy the food and beverage services of the Club, but only in the presence of one of the Social Dining Members.
 
NON-MEMBER SHAREHOLDERS:
Non-Member Shareholders do not maintain a membership account number and have no membership access or privileges to either the Golf Course or Clubhouse. They may play golf at the Club, up to a maximum of two visits per month at the applicable guest fee, as per the Club's guest rules, but cannot use other Member's discounted guest fee passes. They may only utilize the facilities of the Clubhouse as a guest of an active Member.
 
All Membership Dues are subject to HST
